Fifteen horses had a lucky escape in snow-covered Massachusetts after their stable roof collapsed.
Five of the horses managed to escape from the damaged building themselves, but the rest were helped to safety by firefighters.
Only minor injuries were reported among the animals.
The collapse, in Norwell, southeast of Boston, was discovered on Monday around 7am, following an overnight snowfall.
Storms this winter have dumped a record 80 inches of snow on Boston, posing significant challenges for owners of farm buildings across the state.
At least some of the horses were sedated before being led to safety.
The Norwell Fire Department was joined in the rescue effort by the Plymouth County Technical Rescue Team.
