BOONVILLE, Mo. (FOX Carolina) -
There is a cute new addition to the Budweiser Clydesdales, the majestic horses which have starred in many memorable commercials by the St. Louis, Mo. Based brewing Anheuser-Busch.
The new colt, named Arizona, was born during Super Bowl XLIX.
According to the Warm Springs Ranch in Boonville, Mo., where the Budweiser Clydesdales are bred and reside when not touring the country or appearing in commercials, Arizona was born just minutes before Budweiser's commercial Sunday night. The commercial featured the iconic horses guiding a lost puppy back home.
Arizona and her mother are doing well, according to the Warm Springs Ranch Facebook page.
Fans can meet the new Clydesdale by booking a tour at the ranch later this spring.
The Budweiser Clydesdales have been the symbol of the brewing company since 1933, when a hitch of Clydesdales carried the first batch of post-Prohibition beer down the street from the brewery, according to the Warm Springs Ranch website.
